In the shifting landscapes of El Salvador we have the great privilege of hosting around 75 children at our school in El Monzón, a picturesque community that has seen upheaval in many ways (socially, politically, spiritually, with weather, and in family life). El Monzón is a favorite of ours and recent changes make this an extremely safe mission trip. And though we work very hard each March, April, and July when we go, the sights and beauty are unmatched and there is ample opportunity to soak it all in during the service week.

The only country with our friend and long-term missionary on the ground, El Salvador is a true entrustment and delight for us, and we couldn't be more grateful for the excellent team of volunteers and staff God has connected us with. In 2018, a Water Filtration system was built to kick off our work in service of this community along the beach, and the next year, we were able to open our school!

Our El Salvador trips focus on local aid, evangelism, and special projects such as building repairs, light construction, a women’s conference, sports camps and Vacation Bible School for the children at the Mentor Leaders Academy in El Monzón.

We continue to dream about the future at this location and how we can best serve the precious lives and hearts we serve. Currently our pressing need is to have all children sponsored at each location so we can begin moving into the VERY exciting phases of restoration (long-term discipleship) and Sustainability (multiplication)!
