Pastor Carlos Vega was a faithful servant of God in El Monzon, El Salvador for more than 15 years. After fighting cancer for a few short months, God called Pastor Carlos to his eternal home in Heaven on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. As 2 Corinthians 5:8 states "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord." Our hearts mourn the loss of this wonderful mentor, leader, pastor and friend but we are comforted in the fact that we will see him again in Heaven. This is not goodbye but see you later.  

For the last 7 years, Mentor Leaders has had the privilege of working alongside him as the ministry leader and Pastor of the church in El Monzon, El Salvador and helping to establish the Mentor Leaders Academy in this community. His presence and leadership will be missed. As we come together as a community of believers we ask for your prayers for his wife and family during this time of loss. The family will be facing some financial hardships in the coming months paying for the funeral and medical bills that are still outstanding.
